1. About Wizzy

Wizzy ("wizzytutor.com") is an AI-powered educational tutoring application designed for Filipino students in Grades 4-10. Wizzy uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized lessons, worksheets, and teaching materials from textbook photos.

Wizzy is operated from the Philippines and is subject to Philippine law.

2. Accounts and Registration

Parent Accounts: Parents or legal guardians must create an account to use Wizzy. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) you register.

Teacher Accounts: Teachers may create a free account to generate teaching materials. Teacher accounts are separate from parent accounts and cannot be used interchangeably.

Child Profiles: Parents create child profiles with a login PIN. Children access Wizzy through their PIN. By creating a child profile, you consent to Wizzy processing your child's educational data as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and your child's PIN.

3. Credits and Payments

Wizzy uses a credit-based system for student lessons. Credits are purchased through our payment partners (PayMongo) using GCash, credit/debit cards, or other supported payment methods.

Credit usage: Credits are deducted when a new lesson is generated. Reviewing previously generated lessons is free and does not consume credits.

Refunds: Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by Philippine consumer protection law. If a lesson generation fails due to a system error, credits are automatically refunded.

Free credits: New parent accounts receive a limited number of free credits. Teacher accounts are free with a monthly generation limit.

4. Teacher Accounts

Teacher accounts provide free access to generate teaching materials including worksheets, teaching guides, and vocabulary lists. Teachers receive 25 free generations per month.

Materials generated through teacher accounts are for educational use. Generated worksheets include Wizzy branding and may be shared with students and parents.

5. AI-Generated Content

Wizzy uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to generate educational content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Wizzy is a supplementary learning tool and should not be the sole source of education.

Content safety: Wizzy includes content filters to prevent inappropriate material. If you encounter any inappropriate content, please report it to us immediately.

No direct answers: Wizzy is designed to teach through guided understanding, not to provide direct answers to homework or exam questions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use Wizzy for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload non-educational or inappropriate images
  • Attempt to circumvent the credit system or generation limits
  • Use automated tools to access Wizzy
  • Reverse engineer or copy Wizzy's AI functionality

7. Intellectual Property

The Wizzy application, its design, the Wizzy character, and the "Magic in every page" tagline are the intellectual property of Wizzy. AI-generated educational content created through Wizzy may be used freely for personal and educational purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Wizzy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of AI-generated educational content, including but not limited to inaccuracies in lessons or worksheets.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Wizzy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
